I-BLU on a mission to crack the code of the Adult Language Learner

The I-BLU (Innovative Blended Language Upskilling) Erasmus + project has embarked on its first full-scale activity, after months of diligent preparation.

In all five of the project countries – Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain, dozens of teachers and researchers are engaging hundreds of respondents – prospective adult learners of English in the state-of-the-art research.

The survey aims to collect in-depth data on a range of factors that impact the efficiency of second language acquisition in adults. Its scope and depth, in many ways unprecedented in the domain of language learning and teaching, are expected to yield precious information for targeted customization of the future blended learning course – the main output of the I-BLU project.
